Meet Lee, a Mechanical Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, working for a US-based company. Lee has traveled to countries such as Singapore, China, Malaysia, and South Korea as a part of his job, gaining a wealth of international experience and exposure.

Lee's passion for technology and innovation led him to found a Proptech startup while working as an engineer. Though my first venture, an ice cream vending machine business, had to shut down due to the pandemic, I never gave up on my entrepreneurial dreams. 

In 2018, Lee founded one of Malaysia's largest building management system that specializes in visitor management system using LPR technology. Though, I choose to exit the company before merging with iBilik

He founded SpacePlus in September 2020, an IoT Enabled Rental Management System that gained huge traction due to the pandemic, as room rental operators were looking for solutions to automate their day-to-day operations and remote control tenant management. This success led to a merger with iBilik, a Malaysia's largest room rental platform in November 2021, taking Lee's startup to new heights.

After the merger, Lee became the new owner and CEO of iBilik. Through relentless efforts in marketing and product development, iBilik quickly became a top-of-mind name among property owners and renters. The all-new iBilik offers end-to-end solutions for property owners and renters, streamlining the process of finding tenants to tenant management. Property owners can now easily find, screen and manage tenants with just a click of a button, and tenants can rent with peace of mind, knowing that they are protected from scams and that the process is easy and convenient. The platform comes with an easy to use booking engine that makes the rental process more seamless.

In addition to its cutting-edge technology, iBilik has formed a lot of alliances and partnerships to further enhance the property rental market, especially with CTOS to ensure the best tenant screening process. 

Over the past 12 months, iBilik website unique visitor grew from 70k to 320k, and social media followers more than 1 mil across different platform. Also, iBilik rental management system has processed more than 140mil of rental. With Lee's vision and leadership, iBilik has become the go-to platform for property owners and renters in Malaysia, offering the best possible experience for both parties. His 13 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and his passion for technology and innovation have been instrumental in the success of the company.
